Sandy and Josh eat dinner...and then enjoy their dessert. 😊

We have 24 pages for Episode 50 of Half Sisters! Yay! 🍾 And it's certainly an important one for Sandy and Josh.

I really enjoy writing these two together and their complicated (and yet kind of simple) relationship. I can't wait to read your comments!

You know Josh is a real gentleman cause he didn't peak up Sandy's dress while she was standing on his shoulders. I have a feeling if the roles were reversed Sandy would take full advantage of the view, considering how absolutely feral she appears to be for Josh lol

I can't really get into Sandy and her change/struggle. It's well-written, don't get me wrong, but between the transition-angst and scenario, I find Nikki a more sympathetic character. She's got a 'tragic heroine' feeling. Sandy is adapting a bit too well to have that same feeling. (It's also why I can easily relate to Chris in Homecoming.)

That's okay, Elrod! I do want them to feel like they're in different situations with different levels of trauma. Sandy's change was more gradual - and she wasn't kidnapped and brought to a remote island where she was subjected to Mr Davis! Also their natural temperaments have made their responses to the changes very different. 😊
