The release candidate for MCCC 2023.5.0 is out (2023.5.RC1).  Since this is the release candidate, all languages have English placeholders for the new strings added in this release.

are you updating it for the update on 9/5 because I'm having issues but idk if it's because of the update yesterday?

No update is needed. If an update is needed, I immediately put out a post that says that the mod was broken and I'm working on a hotfix. Otherwise, I update the compatibility sections on all of the public release posts and my website to say it's compatible with the update that happened that day. If you're having issues, it's not with MCCC but it could be from one of your other mods/cc. You should go to one of the support Discord channels listed on each release post.

Hey so it appears like the better exception mod keeps telling me that I need to download the newer mcc version but I have already downloaded this version, so I am not sure what is causing it.

If I was to guess, I'd say it's because it checks for the latest public release but has no way of knowing about Patreon releases because that's the way most of them work.
