Let’s goooo episode 8 is peak anime I love the detail where if you listen closely you can actually hear their mistakes they made in their first song

The first song was actually recorded with the players actually messing up on purpose.

So yeah, Bocchi’s solo was a complete shock to everyone, they had obviously not rehearsed that. It was her way of snapping them out of their nervousness, showing the crowd that they do indeed have some skill/talent, and finally her way of showing how much the band really means to her because she really wants them to succeed. So her being the “rock” of the group that keeps them steady is absolutely perfect for her
