Wait til you do a Dollop about Ruth Bader Ginsbur. She cites the Doctrine of Discovery in 2005 in Sherrill v Oneida Indian Nation of New York. Then, later on, the top cop, Kamala Harris, used Ginsburg’s ruling not only to dispossess indigenous people from their land but also their personhood. The Doctrine justifies imperialism and colonization.

My grandmother taught me the one word of Iroquois (Cayuga specifically, though she also spoke Seneca) she still remembered after having "the savage beat out of her" at the Thomas Indian School on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation (thanks for negating half of my heritage, religious jerkoffs) and that word was "ota" pronounced almost like "oda" and it means "shit". I was 7 and I was delighted. My father, less so. This means I knew more Iroquois than this guy. Ota indeed.
