646 Broken Hooks' Hideout (Patreon)

In Broken Hooks' Hideout, a group of adventurers is sent to track down a band of brigands led by Askren, a renowned thief who rose to prominence after surviving two deathly duels and losing his hand. The characters visit the last location where the band attacked and track them through the forest to their hideout. It is located under a hollowed-out tree, in an underground compound that was built by elves to honor their death. It is an ancient, yet forgotten, crypt.

The characters embark on this exploration and climb down into the elvish crypt to find it repurposed as the brigands' lair. They must confront the zealous followers of Askren and maybe even have a perilous encounter with the dead spirits that inhabit the tomb. In a deep chamber, the characters find Askren and his loyal brigands.

This adventure leads the heroes to an ancient elvish mausoleum repurposed as a hideout, pits them against loyal outlaws, and gives them the opportunity to interact with strange spirits from ages past.
