bloodsharing.

Been leaning towards it being official in drake lore for a while.

in terms of bonding, blood is actually a vital part in the process of bonding, it's what ties each drake to the other for life and carries anima. (the anima is the lifeforce/soul of drakes) so if blood carries life/anima then bloodsharing as an erotic activity should be pretty typical I'd think.

included old pic of bonding concept art with ez and di, this isn't a natural bond it was caused due to the A.I. in her collar becoming corrupted and forcing her into the situation that nearly killed her, but the act itself in terms of procedure were pretty standard (minus the fact di never reciprocated)

Hm, interesting! Would this involve intentional bloodletting and marking like in that pic or even more activities? And just since this came to mind, what kind of connotations would something like a blood transfusion have? Or is that even something the species needs to worry about?

Intentional in the erogenous areas (for drakes that's the forearms, wrists, hands and jawline) A transfusion would be frowned on unless by direct family since that's the major part involved in the bonding process. If two strangers swapped blood they'd take on personality traits of the other. If it was one sided like a transfusion you could end up passing on serial killer traits. More likely they'd be hooked up to a medical machine and pumped full of fluids and antibodies. I suppose a plasma transfer could be safe? But not full on blood since blood = life and life = anima aka their "essence"
