Eo & the Aestharii//Lore post (Patreon)

Eo is the red moon on the 4th planet in Emain's solar system.  Eo has been featured in several art pieces I have done over the years, so I will post them here. Keep in mind, many are NSFW.

Eo, being a moon, is rather small, compared to the abyss drakes homeworld. However, many who had attachment issues to home, have found the alien moon to be some comfort to them, as they could still look up from its red and silver grassy meadows and see their home twinkling in the sky.

While a handful of colonies live on Eo, the planet it circles is inhabitable. Dimo is an icy rock, with a liquid hydrogen core(similar to our jumpiter, however, Dimo is not a gas giant).

The surface of Dimo is jagged crags of ice and rock, with precious stones and minerals hidden within its layers. While Dimo has no breathable atmosphere and no life, it does contain essential ores for creating valuable homes and equipment. Drakes will regularaly take transport vessels (small, square vehicles) from a space station that is more a mining colony than a station, make a quick trip to Dimo, harvest ore and ice for straining into water and various chemicals like alcohol, and fly back to the station. Expeditions are generally very fruitful, and as there are not huge numbers of colonies on Eo or the station in orbit above it, it would likely last for thousands of years.

Part of this trade agreement was negotiated between the remaining Rift Drakes that had come aboard the few ships that left Emain, and headed for Eo; was that they would share 30% of the minerals and raw materials gathered with Eo's native sentient species. 

Aquelions & greater crested aqualions are the native sentient life on Eo. They are not particularly technologically advanced, and live simple lives around and within bodies of water. (will post an old image of them as well) The Aquelions welcomed the drakes to their world, but are rarely seen together due to the fact Aquelions cannot survive on land indefinitely.

The sun is the brightest star at the top, but it is actually an ancient sun, so while it's bright, it's not nearly as hot as it was a few billion years prior. Emain is the very large green and red planet on the far left.
