Ding Dong

The doorbell rang for the second time, making Robert let out a brief sigh. It was clear to anyone who saw him that he didn’t want to stand up, but at the same time he kinda had to. After all, he knew who would be at the door.

“Hi Kyle! Glad you could come by.”

“No problem. I am always happy to be here. Now what was that about a new game you wanted to play?”

“I am glad you asked. Come in, come in!”

Kyle was a bit confused about his friend's sudden call the day prior, but he didn’t mind visiting Robert at all, especially when he was invited to play games with him together. The thing was, that even the explanation Robert gave him when they reached his room didn’t really make things all that much clearer for him.

“So I have been a priest for a goddess for a while, and she asked me to play a certain game to help me practice for the big arcade battle royale that is happening in two days. And I thought you might want to help me practice.”

Kyle blinked for a moment, before he asked somewhat doubtingly. “And… uhm… did you play that game before?”

“Nope. It arrived today.”

“Did you hear anything about the game before?”

“Nope. Never heard of it.”

“Do you even know what console it is for?”

“Nope. But the goddess said it should work for every console.”

“How does a game even work for every console?” Kyle asked, though before he could react Robert had already pulled out his switch and a game cartridge that looked like it was the size of a real, honest to god book. Though that didn’t deter Robert and he mushed his switch and the book together and said. “Watch and learn~”

Click.

“Told you~” Robert chimed, throwing himself onto his bed. He really just fit a book sized cartridge into the hole of a switch. Kyle couldn’t help but stare for a moment, but then just shrugged his shoulders, decided to accept that the cartridge is magical and let himself down on Robert's bed as well.

Robert turned on his Switch and selected the new menu option that appeared on the Switch’s home menu. The game was written in an illegible text with symbols Kyle didn’t recognize though Robert was unphased by it.
“Alright, time to see what this is all about!” Robert exclaimed excitedly.

A minute or so passed with the TV being completely dark.
“Uh… you sure this is working?” Kyle said. Robert let out a sigh, assuming the game had crashed somehow. The moment he stood up to inspect his Switch, the screen suddenly came alive with an array of blinding colors. It was not nearly as eye burning as it could have been, but it did give the two friends a minor headache.

A chibi version of Nagisa appeared on the screen and gave a wink.
“Welcome to ‘Nagisa’s Training game for the most Holy’!” she said. Her voice sounded a bit compressed and bit-crushed. “This game will make you a pro-gamer and let you beat all the noobs!” Robert smiled anxiously while Kyle cringed at the awful voice acting. A moment later, Nagisa flew off the screen and a very basic looking main menu appeared.

There were three options: single-player game, 2-player game, and an options menu.
“This game looks like something someone threw together in a few hours in Unity,” Kyle commented.
“Hey, my goddess made this… I think. It can’t be that bad~” Robert decided to at least test out what the game was before he played it with Kyle and selected the single-player option.

“Round 1. Fight!” The bit-crushed voice of Nagisa immediately rang out again, making both flinch backwards briefly, before Robert realized that the game had already started. With the best his reflexes allowed, he tried to get into the game, though he didn't really know which of the buttons did what. Or even what the game was about.

“And the game just throws you into the middle of the action with no questions asked? Shouldn't there be like a tutorial first?” Kyle asked, though brushed it off. After all, even terrible games can be really fun to play through. Though he had a hard time calling it the work of a goddess to be honest. The visuals were okay, but the gameplay looked like it was a lot of button mashing.

“Ugh.. I think I got something in my eyes. Bad timing.” declared Robert, trying his absolute hardest to keep his eye open and focus on the game while getting the urge to rub it. With every move his in game character threw out, he felt the pressure on his eyes getting worse and worse.

By now, his entire face was feeling weird, but his eyes were just the most noticeable ones. Until both of his eyes simultaneously started to move towards each other, melting away the bridge of his nose and fusing together into a single massive eye in the middle of his face.

“Your ‘eyes’? You know you only have one, right?” Kyle commented, though Robert wasn't paying much attention. He was way too busy getting back into the game now that he could finally see again, and in fact it was as if his entire world had changed, because he could see everything in much more detail than he ever could before. Just don’t ask him about his depth perception…

“Damn it! This character’s attacks are so unpredictable! Why do they have this weird 3D effect to them!” Robert pouted. He went to rub his eye(s?), feeling a little burn in his forehead. Though when he closed his eye, Robert could only feel him touching a part… of his eye. “What…?” He took out his phone and turned on the forward facing camera.

“What’s wrong Robert? Got something in your eye?”
“Uh….” Robert felt weirded out and a little creeped out from his now singular mono-eye. Of course, that wasn’t the only change he did notice, but before he could-
“Hey dude, you didn’t pause.”
“Wha-”
“YOU LOSE!”

Robert looked back up at the screen, his character had been defeated and his opponent jumped up and down in an excited manner.
“Damn it!” Robert picked up the controller again and attempted to fight his opponent again, forgetting about the changes he witnessed. At this point, Robert’s face was a lot more slim and petite than it was before. His hair had grown considerably and while Robert could feel it growing on his back, he became too focused on the game to care.

The longer he played it, the more Robert became focused, ignoring the things that were happening around him in the real world. For example when his entire body began to shrink, his arms and torso became much thinner and daintier, he didn’t notice a thing. Even when the Switch in his hands suddenly seemed a lot bigger than before, there simply was no need to be concerned.

After all, he knew that this was a gift from Nagisa. Of course she was going to change his body to become better at games. What were a few lost muscles in turn for the most impressive vision on the planet?

“YOU LOSE! With the help of your friend, you might become better.” The ingame Nagisa voice announced, making Robert turn around and look with his giant eye at Kyle.

“Kyyyyyyyle. The game wants you to help me!”

“...and how do you expect me to do that? You know this is a single-player game, right?”

“I don’t know. Give me emotional support!”

“Wha…?”

Before Kyle could react, the now much smaller Robert leaned against him as he picked up the game again for the next round. With one small smile at his good friend, he knew that this round was the one where he would succeed. Now that he had the power of God and Anime friendship on his side.

“And what exactly does leaning against me do?”

“Emotional support.”

“Of course… Welp, if you feel better that way…”

From the moment Robert went back into the game, he could already feel the power of friendship coursing through his body, causing him to play better than he ever did (in his head anyways.). He could feel the entirety of his skin getting supercharged with energy, feeling like it was bursting from the inside.

And this wasn’t just an arbitrary feeling, as his skin did indeed shed itself from all of its unnecessary wrinkles, body hair and other imperfections, leaving nothing but smoothness behind. And even after the skin had seemingly reached a perfect state, it still wasn’t done changing, as it slowly but surely started to take on a more grayish tone, making him look more inhuman by the second.

“Aww common! I almost have this! Give me more Support, Kyle!”

“Uhm… How?”

“Hug me or something!”

“...If you say so… I don’t mind.”

Even if a bit confused, Kyle was not someone to turn down his friend's offer, though he did notice something very interesting while watching him play. If you put aside Roberts' growing excitement for the game, the truth was that he was getting much worse at it, as the score points just kept falling with every attempt. But as long as he was so enthusiastic about it, who was Kyle to deny him his fun.

He took a deep breath and leaned forward, gently grabbing the sides of Robert, who was still very much focusing on the game, though the sudden embrace sent a shiver through his body. The energy and support of Kyle streamed into Robert’s body again, just as Nagisa had suggested. In fact, it almost seemed like it made its home around the chest area judging from how warm it suddenly started to feel.

With every excited breath he took, Robert could feel his chest rising unusually high and then it just seemed to stay that way. Small bumps started to appear on his chest, exactly where the warmth seemed to channell, though to Robert it just felt more like a small itch than growing and budding breasts that they were.

“Uhg… Kyle! Scratch my chest!”

“You… What!?!”

“Ahg. Gimme a minute.”

Out of the blue, Robert suddenly threw off the shirt and other clothes he wore, completely stunning Kyle for a second. It just all became so uncomfortable all of a sudden, like his chest, stomach, hips and just his skin overall weren’t meant to wear clothes. So he didn’t, and sat back down on the bed to a very confused Kyle that just looked like nothing would surprise him anymore.

And before he could take the console back into his hands to press ‘try again’ on the game over screen, he could feel his lower half actively change as he tried to shimmey himself into a comfortable sitting position.

He could feel his hips widen as his ass expanded, pushing off the bed slightly as if someone had snuck a pillow under him, which he really didn’t mind. Though it started to become a bit more uncomfortable when his thighs started to plush up and thicken, causing his manhood to be crushed by soft pillows in the middle of them.

With the switch in hand, Robert pressed the button to try the admittingly very addicting first level of the game again, but a new loading screen appeared this time. Instead of a bar filling up slowly, it was a full bar slowly decreasing. And the tingling feeling in his downbelow told him that the bar wasn’t the only thing that was actively decreasing in size.

When the bar lost a quarter of its size, Robert began to feel a strong sucking sensation in his nether region. When it was halfway gone, He couldn’t help but let out a moan as his balls were pulled inside of his body. With only a quarter of the bar remaining, Robert could feel how the freshly opened slit had clearly become more prominent than what was remaining of his manhood.

And once the game had finally loaded, the last traces of Robert's manliness got sucked away, leaving nothing but the completely female Roze behind. Not that she paid it much mind. After all, the next round had already begun.

“YOU LOSE!”

“What! The round has just begun! What's with this unfair difficulty spike?” Roze didn’t waste any time to complain, making Kyle who still sat behind her giggle for a moment. Roze turned around and immediately hissed at him. “You! Get back to emotional support! I can do this!”

“Maybe with another set of eyes this task will be easier?” Nagisa’s robotic voice asked almost as if she heard Roze just now.

And just as if on cue, Roze felt something growing out from behind her. Was it coming from her back? Or from just above her butt? She couldn’t tell, but she also didn’t care as suddenly felt like the view and understanding of the world had drastically changed in just one moment.

Tentacle-like limbs had started to grow from behind her and wiggled around as they got longer and longer. Roze quickly realized that, not only did she have every single one of them perfectly under control, but also at the end of each of her new wiggly limbs was another eye that was fully functional and gave her multiple viewpoints from wherever she moved the tentacle. It was truly a blessing from her goddess.

“CONGRATULATIONS! YOU WIN!” The game announced, and immediately Roze flung her arms into the air and screamed. “Finally!!! I did it! Did you see that!?! I did it!”

“Yes I saw. But you know…” Kyle began to think about how to break it to the cheering girl in front of him, that the game had significantly toned down in difficulty and enemies, and she still only barely won. It seemed like in the last round the game didn’t want Roze to lose.

“HA! I am ready for level 2. With the blessing of Nagisa and me becoming a Gazer I will master every type of game! Just watch me!” Roze declared confidently.

“You do know that you have always been a Gazer demon, right? And also…”

“Kyle! Hush! And put your hands on my body. With you on my side, I will overcome any challenge the game might throw at me!”

“Alright. I’m here for you.”

By this point, Kyle had given up on trying to make sense of his demonic friend, and he had also given up on trying to tell her how bad she actually was at gaming now. The next level seemed to immediately go back to the original difficulty from the beginning, with the only difference to level 1 being that the small figure that always seemed to hang out at the top left corner of the screen seemed to have disappeared.

Naturally, Roze had a hard time getting through a stage like that, though she definitely tried her best and seemingly had lots of fun. And that's the most important part, right?

Here is the first part of the July Priest story. I know it's a bit longer than usual, but it felt wrong to shorten my idea for this picture. Lucky Roze, I guess~
