I felt so bad for Lyle! It was really just a mix of Gus venting and covering his bases for an alibi and Lyle got caught in the middle. I hope Lyle got a little bonus for that! I kind of thought of the bowling ball stuff as more of a slipping Jimmy move. He is more hands on than "Saul" after all so it kind of felt like a teenager lashing out. Him going to the Acker house with that picture though was a total Saul move. Lastly, this episode is the most I have ever had to think of the word culvert in my life!

I think the beginning scene buying the bowling balls was one of those flash forwards they're famous for. I think he was wearing the same shirt/tie that he was wearing when he went to see Acker, so on his way home from Acker he went to get the bowling balls then head to Howards.
