What a nice surprise to get two AoS episodes back-to-back! This episode has some funny jokes and gags! Especially Clark Gregg's (Coulson) deliveries are a lot of fun. It also has some really clunky dialog and editing though, definitely noticeable. Not much in the way of connections to the greater MCU this episode. Of course, the Extremis compound from Iron Man 3 that's part of the Centipede project makes another appearance. And the little explosive gadget that Coulson uses on the door to access the lab, on which he remarks "I love these things!"; that's a direct callback to Iron Man 1, where he uses that exact gadget to blow open Obadiah Stane's research lab. He even has the same mischievous smile and crosses his arms in the same way when taking cover, whilst Pepper asks him: "Oh what is that, is that gonna pick the lock? BOOM!". 😅

This is a fun episode. The villain of the week is a little eh but the moment between Skye and Coulson at the end is great. And as far as I'm concerned that's what it's all about. Won't say a ton more as I'm headed on to Episode 6 right away.
