So the character of Whitney Frost is inspired by the real-world 1940's actress/inventor Hedy Lamarr, whose real name was Hedwig Kiesler. She was a brilliant woman stuck in her time. She has a fair number of patents in her name, including one for a frequency hopping technique that solves the problem of radio-jamming which was a common countermeasure during WW2. Although her exact frequency-hopping implementation was never used widely, the basic premise of the idea is used everywhere now in encrypted radio transmissions, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. It was great to see Howard Stark show up again! But overall, this episode felt a bit slow compared to the previous two.
