Hi everyone! I've decided to be nice and listen to a couple of you and bring you my reaction to the final two episodes of the show before the weekend. Click here to watchalong with me!

What a show this was and thank you so much for joining me with it! I am so thrilled for this long Star Wars animation experience and I'm equally as thrilled to finally dive into the live-action stuff.

My reactions to The Mandalorian will begin when I return from vacation (I get home on July 6). Since I want to finish all of Mando and The Book of Boba Fett before Ahsoka releases on Aug 23, I'll be working my way through these shows pretty quickly and knowing that I'll have to is why I'm gonna give myself two weeks of a break from Star Wars media. I don't have an exact reaction schedule in mind yet for these shows, but since I need to get out 31 episodes in 48 days you can expect to see a reaction every other day and back-to-back days here and there.

Plan is for S1 and S2 of The Mandalorian, followed by The Book of Boba Fett, and then S3 of Mando. I believe I have heard a few times now that this is the correct watch order.

Thanks again for being here and for all the comments and fun fact sharing. I appreciate it so much and excited to continue the journey!

You know, when I first watched Rebels all those years ago I was a little disappointed with the character designs, they look a bit simplistic, young, and by that I mean, aimed at a young audience. Which they probably were in all fairness. However, after a few episodes the stories overtook the chara designs and I got used to it. With the exception of the last arc of season 7 of the Clone Wars (and aspects of seasons 4 and 5) I reckon Rebels had some of the best story lines in all of animated Star Wars, with the possible exception of the Bad Batch, and I will stand by that. Though actually, Visions does have some astonishingly good stories shoehorned into twenty minutes or less... but.... Back to the point- (insert imogy of smiling with drop of sweat ;) one episode of Rebels that stood out for me was Twin Suns. The speed with which Obi-Wan despatched Maul was shocking to me. It's almost as if he could predict his every move and countered accordingly. Really well done. AP-5 was for me a welcome addition, I suspect Filoni wanted a 3po/little arthur type relationship for Chopper, a new Odd Couple situation. I wonder if AP-5 is still around. Would be interesting if he turned up in Ahsoka :) By the way, I have avoided all trailers and possible spoilers for Ahsoka so you may know more about it than I do. Lastly- Hera and Kanaan. I don't think I've seen a relationship like theirs in all of Star Wars, two leading characters who were also together. At the end of the show we see Hera has had a child, Jason, and I do believe that Kanaan is the father. Which had me begging the question, when did the get the time to... you know... Maybe that's what Hera was trying to tell him in the episode before he died, maybe she was already pregnant at this time but was unable to find the right time to tell him, and unfortunately that time never came... I guess we've all been there, needing to tell someone close something important but never getting the chance... I wonder if Jason will turn up in Ahsoka? Will he be a force user like his father before him? (I just thought of that as I typed this :) I look forward to rewatching Mando again for the umpteenth time, this time with you. In my opinion it is the best Star Wars live action tv show so far. Andor was good, actually, Andor was excellent, astonishingly good, I'm fairly certain we can mostly agree on this but Mando is Star Wars. It looks like Star Wars, it feels like Star Wars, hell, if Star Wars had a smell, Mando would smell like it. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect (only The Empire Strikes Back comes close) but it's getting there. I'll see you on Mando. And possibly the upcoming Marvel films. Take care, and I hope you misbehaved on your holiday ;)

I watched this weeks ago but forgot to comment, I got overwhelmed with how much I had to say😅. But many of the details and things other members have mentioned so that takes some of the load off. WHAT A MAGICAL END TO REBELS! The final episode had so much quintessential Star Wars in it! Family, friendships, epic battles, outsmarting your enemies, Palpatein manipulating people, and crazy force lore!!! I personally love Star Wars in show form the best! Movies form the universe’s foundations, but Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch, Andor, and all the other shows give the story and characters time to breath and develop in ways that the movies often struggle to do. And I think that Rebels constantly builds upon its story the best. EVERY EPISODE MATTERS, whether it’s the introduction to the Purgil in season 2, or Zeb and Kallus on the Ice Moon, the “finale battle of the Clone Wars” where they acquire the Phantom 2, Ketsue comes back, Lando is the reason the Rebels escaped Lothal at the start of season 2! All that to say, that Star Wars Rebels is one of the most satisfying and rewarding pieces of Media in all of Star Wars! And with Ahsoka coming out soon, we might yet continue some of it😄! I really enjoyed getting to rewatch rebels with you Kaiielle! On to the Mandoverse!

Thanks so much Justin! I'm glad you had a great time and yes, onto The Mandalorian now! 🥳 Once the TV shows are over, I'm gonna have to start diving into books LOL.
