Happy Tuesday everyone! So I want to finish Season 2 of Rebels this week because S2 of The Bad Batch is also finishing this week. So you're getting two episode reactions released today so that the final two episodes will drop on Friday! I'm sure y'all are good with that. 😏 This means I'll be adjusting the schedule of exclusive reactions a tiny bit starting next week. More info to come on that!

Please enjoy Episodes 19 and 20 of Season 2 now here. FYI, last night and today there seems to be some issues with the Patreon API as multiple Patreon creators have reported some connection issues. All this means is that if you're not already logged in with Patreon to my site, then you will most likely have to click the "Connect with Patreon" > Allow a few times in a row to get through. I would strongly suggest using your Account page to do this so that you get visual confirmation that you're in, before diving into reactions!

Two fun episodes. It is an important move for the rebel fleet to have a base of operations, it certainly does help with logistics, specially as it continues to grow. On other notes, I didn't remember that the cargo hauler we saw in The Bad Batch was also introduced in Rebels! But I feel very bad for Lieutenant Deiser, I think she might be one of the few rebel pilots/soldiers who gets named in Rebels (other than of course generals and commanders). And I feel like completely "forgetting" about her once Rex is found is out of character for our crew, specially for Hera (but also the others). I can accept that the situation was quite bad and that they might have had to leave her behind, but I feel like the writers should have put in a couple of lines to show that it is a conscious and very hard decision for them to take. The way it plays out in the episode seems like they ONLY care about rescueing Rex, which just feels wrong and, as I said, out of character for the rebels.

Yes, their lack of care for Deiser felt really off! I still enjoyed the episode but yeah, that is a minor complaint.

Love when Hera uses chopper's C1-10P name, like a mom using the full name when you're in trouble. Chopper is great, AP is great, and they're now like the new 3PO/R2 duo for Rebels. They're a lot of fun. Also not sure if it's been said before, but Filoni said that if R2 is a dog, then Chopper is a cat. Also Filoni "voices" chopper.
