Happy weekend and October, everyone! I meant to get this Trail Thoughts newsletter out at the end of September, but then I procrastinated (what else is new?) - but we're here and ready to chat!

September Thoughts

After a hectic July and August with the Nook Summer Charity Festival and the launch of my rebrand, it was really nice to just chill out this month without anything huge going on. While it feels like this month flew by, it also feels like it didn't? In September, I kicked off the month with my second hiking stream (the first was a hike & snowboarding stream I did back in March 2020). A few days later, I had my brother PinkyFloydster on stream with me to start our own playthrough of It Takes Two. On Fridays, I played through Contradiction - Spot The Liar! and Lake. Outside of that, I continued to progress through my Renegade run in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, completing Mass Effect 1 and starting Mass Effect 2. Tuesdays continued to truck ahead with Mass Effect: Andromeda and we had some super cute (and spicy) scenes with Jaal. Thank you to everyone for popping in and hanging out this past month!

I am finally close to finishing MEA and this means that a super important decision will need to be discussed with the community. We've been playing MEA since the end of March, and I'm super excited to be able to switch things up on Tuesdays again.

I keep mentioning in these blog posts that streaming has been feeling really good lately and I'm here to still echo that. I honestly feel in a super good groove all over lately and I'm not sure where it came from, but phew I hope it does not end! (Wishful thinking...) Literally just continuing to ride this high as long as I can.

Regarding the stats and numbers, September was a slower month than both August and July, but I'm not at all feeling down or upset about anything. This month was a really great feeling month and I always appreciate anyone and everyone that swings by and hangs out. You all make my streams so much fun and I'm so grateful for streaming through this COVID bullshit.

Thoughts for October

This month will continue to be chilled out, apart from one very epic stream that is being planned. The main games will continue as normal. This Friday, I'll be firing up American Truck Simulator! I've been playing this off-stream a LOT and am really enjoying it, so I can't wait to have a chill driving stream with you all on Friday. I might play ATS more than one Friday; we'll see. I do have a huge list of Friday games to check out, as you will know if you've peeped my games spreadsheet lately.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

This is going to be a super fun stream that will probably go for around 8 hours, or possibly longer depending on how I feel. I didn't want to start the stream too late or too early so I think a 2 pm start time will be best. I haven't planned out anything in detail yet, but this is the gist of it. Definitely going to dive into various community games, and I really want to watch old clips. I already have my first year on Twitch clip compilation on YouTube which we'll watch the whole way through together. I may drink on stream, haven't quite decided. 👀 I may dress up in a Halloween costume, haven't quite decided. 👀 Regardless, I'm super pumped to have a celebratory stream and celebrate entering my 30th year with you all!

Final Things:

I finally launched a page to request personalized merch! This order form will be used if you would like to purchase an item, or if you end up redeeming the Personalized Merch channel point redemption on stream. I can't wait to get some personalized merch out to folks!

I had a wave of creativity and made a few things for my shop on Ko-fi! Check them out here.

Lastly, a giant thank you as always to everyone who supports here on Patreon. I appreciate you all so heckin much. 🧡
