Dear Patrons, we’ll send our rewards today – I want to apologize to you guys that we are so inactive here on patreon. Your contributions really make a difference to us. We really owe you all a small behind the scenes video... A little insight behind the curtains for now: The truth is that we work as much as we possibly can. Kurzgesagt takes away about 60% of the time of the month – but the ads together with patreon only covers about 20% of our monthly costs. In the meantime we do as much commercial work as possible to pay our rents and cover our living. This is not meant as a complaint. We love this gig and love that all of you for making it possible for us to work on this video series, which really is a work of passion. But the one resource we lack is time. The whole team on average works 70-90 hours a week, and things like regular updates on Patreon and stuff like that is left behind. After all, we are a small team doing the work of big team. So please don’t think we just take your money here and ignore this whole patreon thing here. We are working on some deals with sponsors, so hopefully next year will give us some air to breathe and take care of the little things. Thanks again for sponsoring us, it really lowers the pressure!
