Bonus Videos & Content Update! (Patreon)

Let us start with the pleasant things! Here are three short bonus videos! We made them for the Royal Tyrell Museum in early 2016, they are permanently displayed there in an exhibition about evolution. We finally got permission to share them. Hope it is a small bonus – let us know if you would like to see more things like that.

OK! Content update: A few weeks ago I mentioned that we were going to take a critical look at our process and see if we can get more efficient. Producing videos this year felt like walking through sirup.

We just kept spending more and more and more time on things that were not worth it. We got too picky. We still invest a lot of time into everything and I think this is the way to create truly great stuff. But there is a limit at which this stops making sense. 

So we got together and talked about all these things. We made plans, drew diagrams, switched responsibilities around, got a few calendars. We set ourselves more deadlines and limitations.  Lots of grown up things happened. 

It worked. Our output exploded. Instead of holding us back it actually boosted our creativity. 

So yeah, the long pause will soon be over. New video next week. In August there will be at least two videos (should be three but that is actually not entirely up to us). And for the rest of the year we are pushing for two videos each month. We don’t know how all of this will develop, but right now it feels good and I think we’ll push out a lot of stuff until christmas.
