But we are about to create something that may change that: our last invention, the most powerful tool, weapon, or maybe even entity: Artificial Super intelligence.

As a software engineer and AI researcher, I'm very disappointed by this video. This is uncritically embracing the definition of intelligence and the narrative of AI development that's promoted by the people making money off of AI. There's a lot that's wrong with this story. It neglects contradictory evidence from biology, and makes huge innovative leaps that we do not even comprehend seem like minor hurdles we will inevitably solve. If you're going to make more videos along these lines, could you please also make a video presenting a dissenting narrative, as well? There are other ways to think about this that people need to hear, and Kurzgesagt could be a good way of getting those ideas out, even if you're also supporting the dominant narrative. I would be happy to help with framing and research.

This comment has actively made me want to wait for the counterpoints video so that I can watch them back to back and let a more comprehensive version of the subject sediment itself in my brain, instead of watching this rn and complaining about the sensationalization of the Almighty Modern AI

I came here to cancel my patreon based on this terribly misleading AI hype video. This was such a shockingly "sell out" marketing pitch. I can only conclude you didn't talk to ANY legitimate AI researchers and were, maybe, paid off. I'm so disappointed, and my trust has been lost.
