In this video I react to 'Set Me Free Pt. 2' & 'Like Crazy' performances on Inkigayo & Music Bank, VIBE w/Taeyang live, Jimin in NYC, & the behind sketches for MVs.

Sorry this is so late.  I was supposed to record this on his birthday but stuff happened.
I will try to post this on YouTube as well but may need to edit out the performances for YouTube if it gets blocked.  Either way - I'm uploading here on Patreon.

I am back to recording and will have some more Patreon-only stuff coming!

Yes I agree, he could never do a boring performance! I was so amazed when I watched them live for the first time! The dancers, the sets, everything. You know he (they) practiced a LOT and didn't care about costs at all lol. For Set Me Free pt 2 I recommend to also watch the mcountdown performance on your own sometime :) It was my fav set, camera work and outfit haha

ok sorry for commenting so much haha but you're not delusional at all, Jimin has literally said that that's why he got the 7 tattoo on his finger, so we would see it every time he holds a mic and performs 🥺🥺 he also said army didn't actually catch it the first time he wanted to show us because his hands were too small and the mic too big lmao

Mine too. I had put off trying them for a long time cuz they were a bit pricey but they went on sale & I finally decided to try them now I can't go back to my old sheet masks lol.

They did a lot, army worked really hard. We just didn't know at the time how the US radio system worked exactly but now we know more, that majority of dj's have no control over the songs being played on the radio. They generally have a queue of set songs they play from their bosses & the America music labels pay fees (illegal payola more like) to have certain songs played more. They don't get paid when they play bts songs so most stations don't want to. We have a few willing stations and nice dj's but it's few & far between. Majority of dj's would laugh at army even on air when they requested bts or would openly bash the guys on air. Life Goes On had a total of 6 radio spins even after Dynamite blew up, the American label they worked with at the time only promoted their English songs without bighit's knowledge they weren't promoting the Korean songs at all. There was an article about it in Weverse magazine when they switched to a different distribution company. Most the time people have heard bts songs in Walmart & Target stores, they put their songs on the playlist as they sell their albums in the store but it's not counted towards radio spins or streams. But army did push really hard to make that happen and they still push hard for radio despite how the US system works.

If you like seeing them be fanboys you should DEFINITELY watch that Suchwita episode where Suga talks to Taeyang. He's super cute the whole time

“He’s married” LMAO, those were my thoughts too! Jokes aside, the mutual admiration and compliment battles between taeyang and jimin were adorable (especially if you consider those 2013 interviews where young jimin called taeyang his favourite singer/role model/inspiration.) Glad to see you again! (Jihope are so precious together, I love them so so so much)
