Hey patrons! I had so much fun during this live drawing session over in the server. Thanks everyone who joined in! Here's the final result of the session:

I'll probably be tweaking it a bit more in the coming days in order to finalize it. For those who weren't there, the chat window is now included in the video, so you can see what I'm talking about and who I'm reacting to! Warning: lots of hot takes about blockbuster movies and animation from me in this one, haha. Hope you enjoy it!

This was so fun, it is good to know I am not the only one who has Photoshop freezing Issues and childhood obsessions with animals, lol. Looking forward to the next one ~

These are so wonderful, I’m going to have to do some studies of these refs… they are so cool.

Loish

I definitely recommend it! the faces have so much personality!

Lion Art Studio

For sure, I love your renditions of them… you’ve nailed the expressions & I really like that you can feel their age without there being a ton of wrinkles actually drawn. Your work of late has been absolutely awesome… the way your able to simplify & allude to detail, while keeping the Essence of your subject is remarkable. I sure as hell can’t do it, get bogged down in details & overwork it all… or it’s so simple it’s sterile.

aw thanks so much! it's an ongoing struggle really. i think it's one of the reasons why i like to just draw fast without thinking too much, i'm trying to beat that part of my brain that wants to detail everything.

Lion Art Studio

Lol yeah, I feel you… maybe I just need to draw faster…. I think there’s more to it though, a wealth of experience & knowledge behind it. I’m playing catch up, started drawing about 8 yrs ago & started taking it seriously about 4 yrs ago. I did draw as a kid, but then stopped & did nothing for a very long time. Now I don’t know how I lived without it, & thankful I’m making a living from it… but, I’ll never get to the class of artist you are… I left it to late.
