Here’s a faster version of the process video I just posted! It took me about an hour and a half to make the original sketch, but this one is condensed into 10 minutes. Hope you enjoy!

Oh man this is so good! It's amazing watching it sped up like this, and seriously thanks for your tutorials, they have been helping me hone my skills! Next going to try to use the lasso tool and gradient more often, looks like it really helps speed up the process, I want to try to create stuff a bit faster :)

thanks! and yes, that's the main reason I started using it. It's just a really efficient way of layering the shapes and colors on at an early stage!

I love seeing any kind of format to show your process, but want to emphasize i really really appreciate this angle/viewpoint too. it’s much easier to understand how layers are being manipulated, what is on said layers and what isn’t, which different brushes are being used, when and where the lasso tool is coming in, and best of all giving a reminder of the person’s labor behind their art, by getting to watch how much your hand moves and the rate of planning and problem solving. thanks for giving this other perspective into the tools that screen-only timelapses can’t always provide
