Here’s the first 30 minutes of my process for this speedpaint. As always, you can speed it up or slow it down by clicking on the gear button. I recorded it vertically because I want to make a reel or tiktok video out of it, hence the odd format! Even though I’m not happy with the final result of this sketch, I think this process video gives a lot of insights into how I make environment speedpaints. If you want a more in-depth resource about my process, check out my environment speedpaint tutorial here!

Great to see your style mixed with landscapes. They work together well!

Loved watching through this. I love the way this was filmed. I'd love to see more of your processes (especially the starting hours when you are setting up everything) filmed with this angle. :)

glad you liked it! sometimes I feel like these videos show way more of my process than the screen recordings because you can see my hand actually performing the actions.

Yes for sure! I hadn't thought about it before but it definitely adds more to do process video than just the screen recording.

1st time ever joined patreon and you are the one I actually joined it. I love. your art!!! a quick question if you don't mind. I can see you use many time lasso tool and gradient tool. when you use the gradient tool, do you set up the color 1st then use it??? Thank you so much again and I learned a lot from you~~~~

I'm so glad you joined, thank you for the support! Most of the time, I color pick using alt+click and then use that color in the gradient. I usually have it set from foreground to transparent so that it's only one layer of color that is added. hope that makes sense / answers your question!
