This is another one of a few 'historical segments' in our Lore book - This one explains what drove the galactic communities to discard dollars in favor of silver, and why silver is so important!

To be honest I have zero knowledge of economics and didn't understand any of that, but its great to know a reason for why we're trading in silver in 5500!

And also, since space travel is a multi-generational thing in cryopods and nations range from "Archotech singularity" to "Nuked ourselves back to the stone age and were then mostly eaten by giant bugs last week".....what government are you going to trust to still be around for its currency to be worth anything?

We are still in the legal ‘row’ so to say and we’re ironing things out. Obtaining licenses takes time and preparations, and we can’t just use Rimworld intellectual property without a license :P That, plus a lot of other things piled up and made us postpone the book, but we plan to resume ASAP!
