This is just a follow-up to posting on Ko-fi.

after a while of being on there the good and the very bad shows
I would like my stuff to actually get seen instead of withering in the wind :')

I'm gonna be real with you here, I wouldn't suggest coming back to Patreon if you can't stomach being pirated. Especially since just recently a website that starts with a "K" just started pirating Patreon content again just the other day. I personally would like to see you back at top form and not have to "Ban" any characters from being released, after all I think if people are supporting you they're at least allowed to be given the mods made in the time frame they paid for and not just what you feel like releasing. Now I understand pirating is difficult, seeing the work and effort you put into something just being tossed around for free sucks. I personally know some people who have the exact same problem but have 1/10th of your supporters. But if you are gonna make "Exclusive Mods" don't share them on your Twitter. All that's gonna cause is problems, you'll get a few people commenting "Oh wow cool mod" but you'll also get another 10 people asking FOR that mod. Now it's not my or anyone elses business what you do with the mod. But if you use the time your supporters are putting their money into to make mods just for yourself and showing them off on a public platform it just gives a sour taste in my mouth. Now I know I'm gonna get smack for this, after all most people are giving you their full support with this endeavor, which I do agree with mind you. I don't want you thinking I'm some kind of "Hater" I've been checking on your Twitter and Patreon every month since you left sympathizing with your predicament. I even supported your Ko-Fi a couple days after you released it (under a different name) and was happy there were some mods already up at the time. The problem was it has been 2 months and only 1 1/2th mods were released, which I took into consideration your mental state and the fact you could have a life outside of modding (I even semi calculated the money you earned on Ko-Fi, look I have ADHD but somehow my brain just does this) and considering your posts on Twitter (Maulani, Xiangling (not sure), and even Nahida now) it's clear you've been putting time into other mods aswell which is fine you're allowed to do whatever you want with your time. I just don't see you being able to hold your current following if you keep doing that. Now I have to say this again, this is not me HATING or trying to DEGRADE you or anything. As someone who's been trying to pay attention to how you're doing and where this could all go I wanna make sure your fans and more importantly yourself doesn't get screwed over in the progress. (Obviously there's some person bias in here, I'm a fan afterall) Sorry for how long this is, honestly it feels rude to post this like 10 minutes after you made this post, it points me out as some kind of stalker or something ngl. I just know you get loads of support but I feel like you might need a little critique instead of just a wave of people saying "Oh you're doing great keep up the great work". I planned on staying silent since I want your mental health to be better not worse, but since you're coming back to Patreon I felt as if I needed to say this now. Cause I have a feeling your mental state will only get worse on Patreon. Thank you for reading this all if you did, if you didn't well that's fine too. I can understand why someone wouldn't wanna read a small essay about how someone is somewhat dissatisfied with their current affairs. But regardless I do hope everything gets better for you, I'll be paying attention and if you do back in the groove again I'll be happy to support but for now I'll just be watching.

If he does stick with Patreon, I would suggest using it only as a front to communicate or update us on releases and progress. That way scrapers won't have access to the files. The actual distribution of mods should be through DMs or another site. Of course, leaks are still possible, but at least they won't be automatically scraped by a bot.

Yep, this is normally the best way to get around them, either distribution via dm, uploading them to a discord you can only access via Patreon subbing, or maybe posting mega links and mass sending the encryption codes to name a few I've seen around Good luck with swapping over!

i dont see this as a hate comment, i see it as fair feedback and criticism everyone i've posted on my twitter was done months ago (6 minimum) ago (except mualani) before i even came back, before i considered it. i just didnt show what i was doing during that time i understand your concern about the piracy issue (i dont like it either), i would prefer if there was a better platform but sadly patreon is what's best from all the options. i would like to release the majority of my stuff for everyone but it will take a while to gain back that trust and drive for it. but i am working on it. i dedicate all the time i am able to in testing and making sure that the mods are up to my standards. i am sorry to say this but i am a bit of a perfectionist. i am trying to learn some posing (and animation) techniques so that is what i mostly have been posting on twitter. most of the stuff other than that are work on progress. thank you for your comment. ill try to ask hazeker to get a better understanding on how he does it

To add to the conversation, I do think Discord would be a good way to sidestep things. I may've mentioned it in the past - but a curated and smaller scale discord exclusive to subscribers may be for the best for security. At least I don't think it'd be terribly difficult to manage and snip any members that don't belong, though I do understand not wanting to deal with that shit at all since privacy and social fatigue could then be a factor. There is also the off-chance it'd reinvigorate you perhaps, something to consider regardless.

Discord would be a pretty good idea like how levi does it (if you know him) he puts previews of the mods on patreon but the download link is only accessible through his discord and patreon also as a official bot to invite people to the server automatically and auto assign role and remove roles one a persons subscription runs out just a suggestion ofc :)

for those suggesting discord, servers can be snapshotted. also when you talk about gaining trust, what do you mean? because with how i understand the word that's not a thing you can gain with what are essentially a huge number of strangers, it takes just a single person to leak your mods, and if your mods are popular that's a guarantee.

Considero que contactes con tus seguidores y puedan crear un canal usando discord tal vez o otro programa que llegue a mas personas que puedas gestionar tu mismo para publicar las claves de mega o crear algún Bot automatizado para gestionar ello ahí para que puedas tener un mercado especializado para ti, además de que tu puedas gestionar los procesos de suscripción y tengas en cuenta cuantas personas tienen tus mods o pases así que cuando ocurra filtraciones los baneas y haces lo mismo para que aprendan a extrañarte, lamentablemente te conocí por las filtraciones y claro obviamente cuando tenga dinero suficiente para gastar te comprare un pase plus porque tu trabajo es tan bueno que mereces ese pago extra. Es mi granito de ayuda :D. Estoy en proceso de bachillerato :c quizás te ayude mi opinión. si esa pagina que inicia con K puede ser un problema siempre hay una solución es cuestión de que pienses y logres una manera de joderles a los piratas.
