Hey guys, new video! Since filming this they’ve gotten so much longer which makes it so much easier to tap on stuff and not need to glue on fake nails every time I film a video😂 I hope you enjoy it! I love watching videos like this personally and bonus points if they’re Asmr, but I also like seeing what products people are using and how they’re actually doing each individual step. Skincare, self-care, nail care, hair care etc… are all videos I can spend too many unhealthy hours binge-watching. I’ve always hated doing my nails but ever since giving up going to salons from bad experiences and damaged nails from gel, I’ve learned to enjoy this as a relaxing weekly ritual (the smell of nail polish is pure torture though). I filmed the last manicure video on YouTube aages ago! 

Another thing is that since upping my protein intake and being conscious that I’m eating protein with every meal and (sometimes) snack, my nails have also gotten so much stronger it’s insane. So that’s been nice. 
It’s just incredible the difference I’ve seen in my health and cravings just from prioritizing protein, although it can be hard sometimes to find varied sources of it and get enough into my day. I just do my best to make it a part of every meal. I don’t aim to hit a certain number, just always try to have some good good carbs, fibre, and protein for lunch and dinner. 

What kind of meat, fish or legumes do you guys like?  I’m curious/would love ideas. I always forget that shrimp exists, or tofu. What I sometimes do is just do a simple saucy thing with sauteed onions, garlic, oregano or basil, and a nice tomato puree, so you get a... saucy thing. And you just plop it on top of a can of rinsed cannelini beans or butter beans or whatever beans, and it makes for a quick lunch or dinner idea for when you're too lazy and can't be *aRsED*. Not exactly a balanced meal but it's delicious even as a side. I can maybe add this to the next cooking video.

Other than that, I’m just absolutely elated at the gradual shift in weather to cooler temperatures and rain and seeing certain things and ingredients on supermarket shelves that create coziness. I’ve already started making a daily cup of tea, and am looking at cake recipes I can make - it’s that time of year 😍 We had some hail, tons of rain and the smell of the grass and flowers and pavement after torrential downpour (or gentle rain) is nothing short of amazing. 

I’ve also changed gears into tahini. Peanut butter and I are taking a break for the unforeseeable future. I think I really need to calm down with the pb, it was getting out of hand, and tahini is a much friendlier high in iron replacement that has always been an obsession regardless. So, the tahini wave has arrived once again.
