Hayaa how is everyone? Melting? Is it warm where you are? What have you guys been up to?

The first video I want to share with you guys is a video I filmed around Easter. I never uploaded it because every time I filmed something, I was so excited to upload that thing, and I obviously can't just upload everything all at once so it was always this video that kept falling behind, poor thing, even though it was so relaxing that I kept dozing off while editing it. I adore these two channels on Youtube for videos like this, they're so, so, so relaxing for me. Super simple, super effective, and so cozy and safe-feeling. I don't know about you guys but I put them on and just listen to them in the background sometimes.

I made a list with your guys' Studio Ghibli recs, so I will add them to my netflix list too, whatever is available to watch on there!

Here's a new thing: I've been sewing obsessively for the last 3 days, and I think I found a new thing to obsess over and keep learning about. You guys know my struggle with finding clothing small enough that fits me, or finding things I like in general, so I really want to learn how to sew my own clothes! I think its a really valuable, interesting, and useful skill to have. It literally opens up a world of possibilities. I got a pair of summer linen pants that need hemming two weeks ago, but I really don't want to fuck them up now while I'm still getting my thread all tangled with every 3rd stitch I make so those will have to go to a professional to have shortened hahaha.

Speaking of...'m curious, in high school, did any of you guys have Home Ec? It's an American/Canadian thing right? We learned how to cook, bake, sew, and we also had woodworking. It was the most fun class ever. If I never had that class, I probably wouldn't have known how to use a sewing machine or make basic things. I remember we had this one recipe called "spicy cheese pinwheels" which were SO GOOD. And a ham, cheese and salsa braid. Where you make some dough, roll it flat, put salsa, ham, cheese, then braid the top and brush with egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. We also had soo many language options to choose from, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Mandarin, Korean, Spanish, Italian, and at least 6 others.

This video experience demonstrated that I don't suck haha even though I was in the low-level math class, called "math principles", for mathematically incapable people 😂 (I still can't do basic math)
