We finally have a video to go along with one of these little art doodles, how cozy! I hope you guys enjoy this video. I had so much fun making it, genuinely. I love watching art process videos, and art tutorials, one channel I love in particular on YouTube is called Minnie Small, she's super talented!

I really wanted to paint a landscape, so I went for a Studio Ghibli one that I found on Pinterest to use as reference (I blurred out the reference photo in the video just cause of potential copyright issues). If I am bad at painting faces, I am worse at painting landscapes, so without a reference I could not have gotten even close to how this turned out 😂

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it, and I'll see you in July!

The hell kind of paint is called "Gouche"? Lol Im just gonna call it ganache from here on out 👌😁 Jokes aside, I was really impressed with your understanding of mixing colors. I know you say your not trained, but Im an amateur at digital art, and even I don't know what kind of colors to use in most situations 🤯 Also, this is probably going to go unstated, but your sketching is top knotch 👍 You didn't need that uh...molding eraser or whatever the hell it was 😂 The art itself was fantastic for what it was. The perfectionist in you is clear for the amount of times you kept doing your colors, but with painting there's no room for error really. Also, I'm not the only one who thinks the clouds in the back look like a multi-colored snake eating a tree am I? I swear I just want to put a googly eye on it just to prove my point 😆 Overall great job. Would love to see some more Ghibli art from you in the future 😀

hahahaahahah gouache is amazing it's the coolest texture and finish once it dries and while working with it. Goooaashhh. But ganache works too 😂 Really!? Im shocked thank you. honestly 😂 I guess I know what I know from watching too many art tutorials and videos and from trial and error when painting, but I still get muddy results from some colour mixing. I did get quite good with skin colour mixing from lots of practice, but I have so many technical issues/misunderstandings when I paint it's kind of hilarious sometimes Wow my sketching too!? Thank you 😀 I guess we really are our own worst critics hahhahaha I saw 30% of the snake eating the tree 😂 😂 those bumps are throwing me off hopefully I didn't just get lucky with this one, I'd love to try painting another one of these again in the future
