Well that's a lie, there's one layered sound, but it's short. Besides the satisfying overall colour combo and the ears (I wish we all had ears like this), this is one of my favourite videos in how it turned out because even though it's nothing special, I missed videos like this where there are no layered sounds. The little silences of application, or in between applications where it feels old-school and lofi, without any of the fussy layering and sound engineering, you know? I think that's also why I tend to go back to older videos of the ASMR people I love watching, because the simplicity is what gets me, and relaxes me.

Do you prefer vids with layered sounds or no layered sounds? Or do you not really care?

Today is going to be one of the only sunny days so I am about to go for my daily walk because the weather is beautiful out. I only have like 3 Christmas presents left to get for the family I am physically around, otherwise I don't really do presents too much. I guess it also has to do with the fact that my entire family and all of my friends - we're dispersed all throughout the world so.. yeknow. Sometimes for birthdays I'll amazon gifts to my friends or family though. But also, i've never really pressured myself on giving gifts to people on the day OF.. for example on the actual birthdate, becuase unless I have a genuine/sincere idea that i know the person will love or that I came up with from the heart, i'll just tell them, and I'll give them the gift when I get an idea for it - whether that's a few days later or........ months later 🤣 My best friend and I usually tend to collect little gifts for each other during the year, and then out of nowhere after like 2 years we'll give each other the gifts randomly all at once, containing 2-3 birthdays worth inside, or 2-3 christmases as well haha. I prefer it that way.

I also made a second version of this video but in instructional version, for YouTube. Just because I couldn't get enough of this "costume" hahaha it's so cozy and cute! I wish to be teleported in another dimension of Earth where only Christmas elves reside.

The other patreon elf video I filmed, also, is going to be very cozy. I had so much fun making it and I do believe it will be very tingly! Sooo you'll be seeing this character a few times this month 😅
