How was your guys' weekend? (Patreon)

I just finished painting a little piece of art for you all. I just painted the whole day, and it was sooo nice. It's a landscape this time, which is one of my weakest points but it was good practice. And I did it with gouache! It's such a beautiful medium, if you haven't tried it and you paint, I definitely recommend it!

Look at the "ramen" i made! It's more-so just regular chicken soup with some noodles and an egg, but looks nice anyway. I also bought a glass ring, mainly for the colour, as the style isn't really my thing but I couldn't take my eyes off the glowing green effect! It calms me to look at it. I also bought a sage green sweater  a week ago, in an attempt to wear less black. let's see how that one goes. I was also really proud of the chicken and potatoes (reg and sweet) I made the other night for dinner - made me happy! And of course... baked pumpkin with some cinnamon - nothing better! I could eat it everyday. It's also delicious with some vanilla ice cream, and the warm pumpkin melts the ice cream... aaaa.

Today I went to look for clothes because in my minimalist ways I honestly don't even have a jacket for this weird transitional weather. I only have a puffer winter jacket. It's also really hard for me to find clothes, and I don't enjoy the process of shopping so I avoid it altogether, and sooner or later, here we are hahaah a nearly empty wardrobe. So I need to invest some money in some new things, as much as I don't honestly care, I would like to treat myself a little bit. But everything XS that I tried today was too big 😓 so I was once again reminded of why I don't go shopping and why I end up feeling depleted and defeated afterwards. Pants coats jackets - the smallest sizes of everything available they had in stores were too big - the styles that I liked. Then I'm sure they'd have smaller sizes online (on occasion, but usually no), but online shopping is another risk/pain in the ass in itself lmao.

Oooo I also had some roasted chestnuts as a snack break! From one of those street vendors. Amazing.

All around a good day! Also look at that pretty mushroom I took a picture of.

The sweater looks so wholesome. The phone case goes well with the sweater. Ahhh I am feeling hungry looking at that ramen 🤣. Man, the food in the pics look delicious 🤤 And that's a cool ring.

That ramen looks so good, and the picture of the mushroom is amazing! Clothes shopping as a whole is VERY annoying, so I definitely feel you on that one. I have this weird thing where, even if clothes are the right size, if they fit on slightly snug, it bothers me. I need some breathing room. Other than working all weekend, I've been hardcore searching for jobs that'll allow me to NOT work weekends nor the occasional night shift. Retail sucks, and my current job is only a temporary, "bridge" job between my paths. I took it to add more managerial experience, but it sucks lol. I did, however, play out as a Duo with one of my good friends on Saturday. I enjoy playing music out, and I want to do that more especially since I joined another project that's been going well. Retail, along with the food industry, doesn't really allow me to partake in performing regularly, and I hate it.

Mushrooms are 🤮 Nice try with that ramen but the key to a good ramen isn't the type of noodle...but the broth you use. Most people in Japan use a Tonkotsu (Pork bone) broth that's rich in umami or a simple Miso broth that has a more mild, less salty taste. They also use a SHIT ton of daikon (typically shaved) and green onion along with some Pork slices called Chashuu. So remember, it's not about the noodles but about literally everything else 😁👍 Also, I'm 5'7 yet have a small build (more ectomorph with some muscle) so I feel you in terms of not finding any good clothing. For me, the issue is not finding something in the right LENGTH instead of overall fit.

And on the weekend, I travelled with my sister and my brother in law. They have 4 year old super hyperactive kid. To calm him down, my sister started word association game. It was so amazing and fun. It made car travel easy. All that time during game, I was thinking of your videos🤣. I played it like a pro🤣. Thanks for preparing me for situations like this. Seriously word association game is a really entertaining and relieving and it's even more fun when you are in a car with your family

2023-03-27 01:22:31 I love the Autumn theme there, I have never tried baked pumpkin with cinnamon, I do have cinnamon often so I will definitely make some for All Hallows Eve. The noodle soup looks yum as does the chicken and sweet potatoes, you can't beat making soups from scratch.

Yeah especially for men's clothes a little breathing room is nice, but also for women's clothes having just a little bit of give gives a nice classy fit. But especially for coats, you need breathing room for sweaters underneath. I understand completely, retail does suck, but like you said, it's a temporary bridge. I've had jobs like that and as annoying as they are, they're sorta necessary. Yeah if you can find a job that'll allow you to be more flexible, or even do some work from home, it would be nice. I've worked in food and it's really exhausting, but there was also something rewarding about it as well. My friend recently found a data entry job that she works remotely, and it's allowing her to develop her photography stuff on the side, as well as travel for it. Crossing my fingers for you to find a good position so you can play more music 🤞

Aaaa mushrooms are yum! Yeah no that's why I put it in quotations, cause it's basically reg chicken soup but visually it kinda reminded me of ramen, maybe it was also the bowl haha. The sprinkled green onion is very "ramen-esque"! Finding the right length is also super difficult, agreed! But with length, with pants at least, getting them hemmed is easy. For other items it's a different story.

You have to try it with cinnamon! it's also good with clove and nutmeg, in the form of the pumpkin-pie seasoning. But to not overcomplicate things - go for the cinnamon haha. Aaa definitely, there's nothing like a freshly made soup, with a good broth.

Right? And I especially like to add the occasional denim vest or a jacket with my vest, so that breathing room is needed! And definitely hoping! Have a few interviews this week, so all the good vibes are needed!
