I'm dropping this song because I can't stop listening. I know I'm 40 years late but my god how great is Billy Idol. The obsession I developed for this song, however, is on the level of "smalltown boy" 😂

I just went to grab some groceries and what the fuck is happening with the prices. Felt tiny heart stabs when I went to checkout. Global inflation party 🥳

On a weather note, where I live we are slowly feeling the temperatures drop slightly, and as excited as I am for fall I will miss the sun.

My sunday 🤔 uhmm I spent 2.5 hours waiting to see a building getting demolished 😅 The Dø live performance by KEXP, It has been recommended before too right? Because It was already saved it in my playlist😅. Someone said the guy on keyboard is Johnny depp, I am confused, I mean he isn't Johnny right? loved the "the thrill is gone" and "lucille" so much. Every time I listen to blues or saxophone, I am taken into a different dimension. My brain automatically pops up a set of many random things I have associated with this genre.

Omg, been obsessed with this song! His stuff is hitting lately, live acoustic versions too, his guitarist Steve Stevens goes so well with him. There’s also a cover of this song from Angel Olsen which gives a bit of a different vibe, so that’s pretty cool too. Hope you’re enjoying the last of this warm weather!

"The Thrill Is Gone" is a blues STAPLE where I'm from. B.B. King practically made his guitar cry with how well he played it. Not just that but he'd always go the extra mile to play the hell out of Lucille (The guitar not the Little Richard song) 😤 I would have never thought you listened to Blues 😂 You should try listening to this version as well. https://youtu.be/abwn67hJ90I He does an excellent cover Have you tried listening to one of those 24 hr live stations on YouTube? I've been vibing to the slow jazz and Bossa Nova stations lately and damn...jazz is just so all encompassing that you can literally make any form of it fit whatever genres you want 👌

eyes without a face, classic one, I used to listen a lot on my childhood 😄 metal/rock ballads from the 80`s are the best, used to listen on like same vibe Lita ford - close my eyes forever

I go back and fourth between a bunch of genres, there's a lot of old music that I appreciate and love listening to. With every year that passes, I'm discovering new (as in old & classic) music, and it's great. Blues is more of a new discovery. But I grew up listening to jazz and rock non-stop from my dad, so I guess it's sort of engrained haha. It's true, that he makes his guitar cry, and his voice is unmatched. It's absolutely insane. I haven't listened to any 24hr live stations on YT! Send me a link pls! I listened to some Japanese jazz lately and it was fantastic.

Hhahhahahaah! What fish were you frying? When I lived with my parents they'd always get angry with me when I started frying super heavy things and forgot to close the doors in the apartment, so the smell would just get everywhere hahahaha That video - she sounds like a fairy!
