Hey everyone! I wanted to post this video with some questions that I'm genuinely curious about. Sleep routines are fascinating to me and I could come up with more questions but I'll let you breathe haha:


🔵 What time do you usually go to sleep? (I'm so bad at this, I go to bed at around 1 usually)

🔵 What's 1 thing that makes you excited to go to bed? (mine is turning on my fairy lights and reading my kindle)

🔵 Do you have a neurotic sleep-time rule? (I need to sleep with the window cracked open year-round for fresh air, and not plugs cause those are super uncomfortable, but tissue in my ears out of a recently discovered fear that bugs can crawl into your ears while you sleep...sorry but you will suffer with me)

🔵 Do you have a go-to night-time snack? (I like fruit with peanut butter or tahini (the good runny kind) I can't fall asleep on an empty stomach. If I try, I won't stop thinking about food and it'll just keep me awake)


🔵 If you have to get up to pee in the middle of the night do you put your slippers on? (if you wear any) I always do because the thought of random crap from the floor getting on my feet then getting into bed and bringing dust or god knows what else into my sheets makes me want to vomit and cry.

Time to join to the poll. 1. As I began treatment for narcolepsy I started having a regular sleep time, then something messed up that regularity and now I'm fucked up again. And yes, now I sleep around 1 am. High five that. 2. Certainly escaping from reality, I'm far away to be a neat person and having routines so I think that's it. 3. Because of OCD I indeed have superstitions but it has to be more with good or bad luck and paranormal stuff although consciously I don't tend to believe in those things (surely it's a long story). But well, that thing of bugs seems weird to me. I think I would never have that kind of fear, and I don't remember to have any phobias. 4. Surely sometimes I'm hungry before sleep and I tend to eat too much when it happens, but I can bear an empty stomach for sure. 5. I always wear slippers when I go to the bathroom as I live in the countryside and there's always dust that I can step on. And I think that's all. Goodnight Nymfy. I'll be awake another 10 hours 'cause it's 15:00 in central Mexico.

When I'm working I usually goto bed by 11 pm. I have sleep apnea so I sleep with a bpap mask. Normally I'm sleeping withing 15 minutes of wearing the mask and rarely wake up until my alarm goes off. Usually need either whispering or soft spoken ASMR to sleep And have to have the AC in my bed room on all year round.

What was your sleep time before your treatment? 1am is still not too bad! I hope you can get back to a time that feels more comfortable for you though You’re incredibly lucky to not have that bug fear 😅 the paranormal superstitions are so interesting! I have a few of those too but not that I actively think about on a daily basis. It’s good that you can bear an empty stomach! I guess it’s much much better for you to go to sleep without having eaten, compared to having had sugar or something else High fiving you virtually for the slippers. I know it’s better for your feet to walk around barefoot buuuuuttt nope can’t do it Goodnight Marco!

I think 11 is the perfect bed time!! It’s great that you have a solution to get an undisturbed (and safe) sleep. Only people who can’t get a good nights sleep due to a variety of reasons, know how shitty it is to not be able to sleep well on a nightly basis. 15 minutes is definitely an achievement! It takes me about 30 usually Really!? The AC on cold year round? Or do you use it for heat as well during other seasons?

So …1) I go to bed around 1 AM (I’m still a university student here in Greece😂) 2) I’m excited to go to bed because I know I’ll rest and relax 😂 3) The only sleep time rule is to be comfortable with the temperature and my clothes (or the lack of them) 4) I only have my dinner around 9 PM and nothing more 5) Yeah , if I need to pee I put my slippers (flip flops if it’s summer) and go .

Hi great video :D I watched it 2 times already :D 1. I usually go to sleep around 12.00 am when I'm exhausted. 2. Not much just to recover and have some peace. I fall asleep immediately. 3. I now realized that I also have window open whole year. 4. I don't snack at night :D 5. If I have slippers near bed I do. otherwise I don't mind it lol

Usually going to bed around 3-4am lol it’s a years-long habit now My big rules are that it must be dark and must be cold My big excitement is either listening to ASMR or, mainly, having my cat curl up in my arms as we get situated I usually go to bed shortly after dinner so lol no snack No slippers but I have a carpeted floor

1am esp if you're in Uni is pretty normal, I would even go as far as to say that it's actually kind of early hahaa. Sleeping comfortably is incredibly important - I have no idea how people can sleep in long sleeve pyjama tops and long pants, you end up getting so tangled in the sheets - the equivalent feeling of getting tangled in your headphone wires. It's a little much 😂 I guess 9pm is a pretty golden hour for having your last meal, most of you guys aren't snacking at 1am like me hahahahha

Year-round open windows are the best, you sleep much better when you have fresh air coming in. No night snacking!? That is incredibly disciplined and self-controlled haha.

Hold on, you go to sleep at 3-4am but you go to sleep shortly after dinner... Jackson when are you eating your dinner 😂😂😂 I must say that I am very jealous of the cat situation that you have going on...that must feel incredibly cozy.. I can let this one pass, about the slippers, if you have a carpeted floor, a little more understandable 😂 😂
