Unlike Faba and Ember, Simeon's past is complete mystery. When he was born, what he was like in the past, his family.. All is known about him, that he gives no value to anything material. He believes that soul is the essential of everything and material has no use without a soul.

Simeon is the Sage of Practical Magic. While his students thinks his classes are extremely boring, in the essence, they are contacting with the ones who passed before them. No object can repair itself, no plant can grow all of a sudden.. unless a soul touches to it's core. And Simeon, is the one who teaches it.

Simeon bears a black obsidian gem which grants communication ability with the other realm residents to it's bearer. Also according to some, he was a wanderer long before he started teachin at the Academy of Magic. He learned and earned some ancient powers during his wandering years. They were so complicated and enchanted that no paper could hold the ink of the knowledge. So, he tattoed them to his own body and with the constant flow of chi energy, he maintained to keep it so far.
