Dorohedoro: Noi and Shin! (Patreon)

Dorohedoro is incredibly weird and I love it. It's an ultraviolent setting of nonsense magic and demons where life is cheap and death is brutal but, rather than edgy and grimdark, the nihilism is laidback and colorful.

It also has two groups of opposing protagonists and one of those groups are Shin and Noi. Shin is great for his own reasons, but it's impossible not to love Noi.

She's a tank, healer, and DPS who likes to laugh, hates bullies, and murders people with her bare hands. I mean... I guess she's kind of a hitwoman for the mob, but Dorohedoro's world is so screwed up anyway I'm not going to hold it against her.

Also, another great thing about Dorohedoro is that all the characters who are physical combatants are built like MMA fighters; it's a nice change of pace from the usual kind of stock Manga/Anime character designs. I mean, just look at Noi; I didn't even exaggerate her physique that much, which is why I didn't bother to denote this as a "Max" drawing.

That's right, I just posted completely normal Dorohedoro fan art and you can't stop me.

I do still have a bbw sketch I'm going to post later. I ended up heavily reworking this image this morning by going over Noi with a LOT of liquify tool and just straight up redrawing Shin from the ground up. You can see the rejected composition in the extra images. It just did not have ANY energy and I woke up this morning hating it.
