Mary hurt her foot earlier and it was splinted at a clinic. Now that the swelling has gone down, it is time for her to get a cast so it can heal. The nurses carefully set her entire ankle in a fibreglass SLC, and show her how to use crutches. As Mary hobbles her way out of the hospital, a momentary distraction results in a much longer stay than she had planned. Having broken her other leg on the stairs, Mary is once again back in the cast room. This time she receives a fibreglass LLC, and to ensure all her bones heal properly, it is connected to the SLC with a spreader bar. The nurses settle her into a hospital bed and try to make her comfortable. After a short nap, Mary examines her new condition. Mary will be laid up in hospital for the next several weeks unable to move, and her casts are already starting to itch... (Disclaimer: Any injuries or accidents in videos are not real.
