Faux-Geto didn't say that he had people that he'd marked a thousand years ago, he said he fed people cursed objects that he'd been gathering for a thousand years and marked current days people to give them access to their cursed techniques. He makes a comparison with Yuji, in that the people that he fed those cursed objects to will now be possessed like Yuji was by Sukuna.
