Happy theorizing. You’ll probably never guess how or why the whole mass teleportation disaster happened. I honestly don’t even know if the anime will go into the reason why it happened because of reasons.

I think the world correction thing was just her assumption, like Rudy pointed out its time stories that have that consequence.

Keith Merrington

Going way back to S1 E1, in the first minute, we learn that there were 3 highschoolers and Rudy in the truck-kun accident. 2 highschoolers were reported missing and Rudy died. We see the other highschooler receiving first aid at the back of an ambulance. Rudy was reincarnated. Nanahoshi was teleported and arrived 10 years after Rudy's reincarnation. The two names Nanahoshi showed Rudy were the names of the other highschoolers she assumes were also teleported (she doesn't know one was left behind). That leaves 1 highschooler unaccounted for. Presumably also teleported but not yet arrived.

Also... is Caleb's insistence that "they're not Gods they're just really strong people" grounded in actual fact? Or is this just his assumption? I'm watching along with them so I have no idea lol.

Happy theorizing. I wonder how long until we get the explanation of the mana disaster…

Nakirium

it's grounded in fact in this case. Take Badigadi for example. He's a Demon KING. Now take Roxy. She's a KING-class water mage. In this world, everyone's power is gauged and measured. In theory, Roxy's water magic SHOULD be as strong as Badigadi. The status of "God" refers to the person of the HIGHEST power levels in a category. Whether they become ethereal like Man-God or more normal looking like Orsted is entirely up to whatever magics they've learned.

By this point in the novel, we have been introduced to the Death God and Sword God. But the anime skipped those interactions. God is just the highest level of something; it comes after Emperor. So Ghislaine is a Sword King; there are some Sword Emperors above her, and her master, Sword God Gal Falion (she swore on his name back in season 1), is the Sword God—the strongest user of that style. Laplace was the Demon God. And Orsted is the Dragon God. Enfer what you will from that.

Lukas

deciding where to differentiate between "gods" and just very powerful entrees is really hard since thats's kind what a god essentially is anyway. That's true in literally any fantasy world.

The Great Santini

Fair enough. That makes it more clear-cut then. So the "Man-God" is just really skilled at being a... man! LOL I know there's more to it than that but its sounds funny

RussellSD

"So the "Man-God" is just really skilled at being a... man!" Not quite but you will get an explanation eventually.

The Great Santini

I would guess he was the first one brought to that works from our Earth kinda like what Jacob was theorizing. I’m excited to learn the truth in due time!!

Demon King is different from those other tittles. While Demon Kings are powerful they aren't called King because they have King level powers Just like human kings like the King of Asura or Shirone aren't King because of martial powers. Otherwise Roxy would be a Demon King and Ruijerd would be a Demon King if not even Emperor, and they definitely aren't, they are specifically a "Water King class magician" and an "King/Emperor Class level fighter" (Ruijerd has not learned any formal sword style so he doesn't actually get a title like North Emperor or Sword Emperor) Badigadi is literally part of a family that is ruling parts of the Demon Continent, and Kishirika "The Great Empress of the Demon Realm" was an actual Empress that ruled over the Demon Clans and lead them into war.
