Them more or less falling for Clayman's deception wrt Millim by not realizing everyone but dumbass Rimuru already knows that and the show expecting you to intuit it is funny. Have a little more faith in the show's writing guys.

Thank you for the reaction! Its always fun to listen to you two discuss and speculate. I'm looking forward to all the clues and pieces to come together for you both next week lol

the anime cuts a lot of the inner monologues and thoughts ... understandably to a large part ... so you will just have to wait and see. One of the biggest one cut was Guys thoughts after his meeting with Leon a few episodes back ... he goes through a lot from the generations of demon lords and their relative strengths and explains then differences between skill tiers ... .... that said the info there spoil something for this fight so I actually agree with the anime cutting it. and wont be going into details here ... As for the others remember Milim is the one Demon Lord you never should never make an enemy off ... and is one of the 3 oldest Demon Lords with Guy and Ramiris, we also seen how much she overshadowed Carrion in therms of power. Guy considers her his equal and we were told Leon would have a 1 in a million chance to defeat him which off itself is a hint at Leon being quite strong himself ... to most of the others the idea that Milim could be controlled is just ridiculous, while they would see Millims behavior as strange their first thought would not be mind control ... My favorite parts are Milim vs Rimuru and the exchange between Guy and Beretta its such a great playing with words ... Funniest moment Veldora getting smacked in the head by Millim :D

Diablo8x

I mainly have faith in the Novel writer Fuze ... the anime showed on multiple occasions when it did its own thing it takes a scene over consistency

Wasn’t explained properly but Rimuru has 4 ultimate skills. One of them was created when he gave Veldora his clone to inhabit. Call Ultimate Skill Veldora. Allows user to summon Storm Dragon Veldora in humon or dragon form, only 1 storm dragon can be summoned at a time, allows user to use any of storm dragon spells and abilities and also if storm dragon Veldora dies, his soul automatically goes back into Rimuru allowing him to not loose his prior life’s memories making Storm Dragon Veldora (this iteration) immortal (as long as The user (Rimuru doesn’t die as well)

Jay Burch

Veldora can also use parts of the skill Veldora, mostly the part that involves summon Storm dragon (he basically has infinite teleportation to where Rimuru is)

Discount Dio got Ora-Ora'd, lol.

A little disappointed that you guys didn't understand what's going on with the other Demon Lords being "decepted" by Clayman/Milim supposedly being under his control. You'll figure out next episode.

Shaun McDonough

Guy can't determine Milims motives you say?.... lol

Diablo8x

This is mainly because the anime cut out Guys monologue after Leon left their meeting a few episodes ago ... where he goes on about the relationship between skill tears and the Demon Lord "generations"that would have explained things ... trough there are hints in Guys words in this episode... but its easy to miss. Also with the cutting out Rimuru trying to analyze the other demon lords as they come in ad figuring out what games they are playing and what they are aiming for with this

I agree, it would have been better if Clayman's plot was both competent and dangerous to Rimeru's standing instead of being just dangerous to the civilians and armies he was moving around. It really deflates the sense of accomplishment or skill required for Rimeru to thwart it. Rather now it seems like the author's didn't think anything through except setting up the cool fight scenes and battles and just put all the nonsense twists and turns required to get them onto Clayman.

Diablo8x

the thing is Rimuru is not the target of Claymans plot, he is using Rimurus actions rot his own aim ... Rewatch the scene with Yuuki and Laplace ... the reason Walpurgis was called was to lure out Valentine and originally Rimuru was not even going to be present ... so there would have been no one to contradict Clayman ... so all he needed was to stretch the meeting out to give Laplace time to snoop around ... as well as Clayman wanted to flex "his" power after controlling Milim ... His other goal with both Farumus War and his expedition into Eurazia was to harvest souls to awaken himself ... so for Claiman Rimuru was just a excuse and an annoyance, since Rimmuru interfered with his plans. Clayman did not really care weather the other Demon Lords swallow his sell or not ... that said there is actually is a reason why he is moving so heavy handily it was already hinted at previously ... but it only is explained much later

I don't recall that being in the scene at all :/. Though I must admit they used a lot of names an vagaries that was hard to follow when you add on top of it the brand new demon lord they intro in the same scene. Also, that scene was so many episodes ago I don't remember which one it was in. There's been a lot that happened since then. I really could have used a reminder. ... I took the time to look it up. That scene happened in Season 2 episode 14. That was like 8 episodes/weeks ago. So a 2 min scene not entirely dedicated to getting that point across and then 4 episodes of political and strategy meetings which dump a lot of info on us, and 3 of a war. I think I can be forgiven for not remembering.
