Literally peak. One of the most satisfying endings ever, and even if there won't be a season 2, I think they ended it off in a rewarding way. But as an LN reader, I hope there will be more seasons to come because there's still so much left and this season only covered volumes 1-3 with the LN still ongoing with 12 volumes, believe me when I say it only gets better from here. And nice little details at the end with Shin and Lena's hand making an 86 near the end; Kurena's foot going in-between Shin and Lena's showing she's not accepting that matter just yet. The little flashbacks of a young Shin from Fido's perspective too is a little tease of more world building from the later LNs.

86 is not only a PEAK example of what a light novel adaptation should be, but a PEAK anime as well. And it only gets better from here yall!

The first thing we see Eugene do is teach his sister that when someone does something nice for you, you say "thank you." It hits a whole lot harder at the gravestone when you see how genuinely happy she is about the picture.

yes, just to say that they show only the beginning, the LN are spectacular and this series deserves more seasons, since shin's development continues and ufff it hurts and is beautiful at the same time!!!
