lol the camera jittering is totally giving me motion sickness 😋

Not sure if you're familiar with the song 'Bloody Tears' from Symphony of the Night, but they did a new version for that initial attack in the entryway of the castle

skyler peters

They didn't even really know what kind of game Castlevania was until watching this show so I'd guess not

Bloody Tears is from Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest though, it doesn't even appear in SotN with the exception of the Sega Saturn version where it only plays during a new secret boss battle iirc. I think they just chose it because it's the most iconic Castlevania track.

Maia Brodsky

We did see Isaac resurrecting a demon in an earlier episode.

@skyler peters Jacob didn't even know Castlevania was a video game series prior to starting the series, which is ironic considering he's a fan of the Ori games (which are a part of the Metroidvania genre).

Isaac’s and Hector’s methods of forging are a bit different. Hector uses a hammer or coins, and Isaac uses his dagger and actually pierced the subjects he’s forging.

Jake White

Isaac and Hector have always been described as “Dracula’s 2 forge masters” ever since they were introduced tbh lol, but I can definitely sympathize with things like that slipping your mind in a hype moment.

That whole "I'm killing my boy" scene always makes me teary. So well done, both in terms of writing and voice acting, to still make us feel so much for Dracula after everything.
