No they absolutely have the right subs. Crunchyroll subs on some of these things are really bad to the point of the just completely ignore stuff on the screen and translate it differently and have still refused to fix it.

If the discussions are good, it may inspire me to pick the show up again. I stopped a few episodes into season 2. I just don't think the depiction of war or child soldiers is very good, it is very black and white. Also our child characters always give the perfect answers to moral dilemmas despite not believably having the life experience to do so. I ended up wishing the show was darker, and not enjoying the directions it chose to take. But maybe I'm in a different place now and I can appreciate it more, maybe the guys' discussions will give me new insight.

Finally! This show is so good it got me hooked into the novels. Highly recommend if you want to know more about the worldbuilding and conflicts in the show.

Would be good if we knew the exact subs they use. Can be jarring sometimes when syncing up with their reaction but they're reacting to completely different subs.

The shows actually pretty well received in the veterans community. It's one of the best depictions of PTSD out there and a pretty good representation of warfare while still being an anime

They are using Kantai subs for some episodes (not what were used in Crunchyroll). The episodes that were fixed for Teeaboo and his 86 reactions by the community are based off the Crunchyroll subs with the errors and mistranslations fixed. For a lot of the episodes they will be using these

God, episode one and it's nearly an hour discussion of theory goodness. I am SO excited for these reactions, this has been one of my favorite series in the past few years.
