lol I take it the Bros probably never seen (or maybe have seen but just forgot) Starship Troopers because of the ED?

Trevor Wingard

The Starship Troopers ED is the best thing ever

AlexXis Amadeus

It's.. not referencing Starship Troopers, I don't think. It's a reinterpretation of a famouns japanese folk myth, the one about Princess Kaguya the moon goddess. It's the same one Shirogane was talking about back during the star-gazing episode.

Ecodude

It's both a reference to Starship troopers and a reinterpretation of the tale of Princess Kaguya

Omikron

It's definitely both. Some of the scenes are one to one https://youtu.be/Z3orq_d8w0c

Christopher Ross

I love how Chika literally has ptsd from Miyuki’s singing 😂

Talon

It is an adaptation of Princess Kaguya (which they even discussed in Season 2) but it is obviously heavily influenced by Starship Troopers (the imagery is identical)

Ethan Vaughn

So turns out the Hayasaka song is a Japanese cover of this Hungarian song. https://youtu.be/x10XFcR2U1c
