Tried this a couple weeks ago gave it 6 episodes but just can't see why its so praised was bored every episode. So dropped it, guess not for me. Good luck with it, its highly liked for a reason, many people do like it a lot.

the show is very dialogue heavy and is hard to enjoy if you like consuming mind numbing action media so yes its not for everyone. its perfect for the bros because they actually intellectually engage with the shows they watch

So excited! The show is so unique and atmospheric from the beginning, and it just gets better as it progresses. Dialogues (but also monologues) and the directing are the show's biggest strengths.

The reactions when the doctor was called a gorilla and the nurse an alpaca were a bit ambigous, it still fits with the "you are the only one of your species so of course i remember you/you are an actual gorilla" but it made me wonder if Odokowa might be the only one seeing animal-people.
