How enraged would you be if I told you Akito’s actually one of my top three favorite characters of this series?

Akito is def one of my favorites, they're just so well written. I can't hate a character that is well written like that, especially what comes later.

Comparing Yuki to an ice sculpture?? A film of fabric?? Amazing. Amazing. There is such a lacking, a barely-there esque personality to him and this episode is the best opening to his character development. I’m so happy ya’ll love the pacing and the way humor is so well written to be on par with the drama.

2021-10-03 00:00:45 And now we get to this episode which is pretty big in multiple ways. Starting off with the fantastic comedy of the beginning of the episode. I have not seen many comedy anime which is something I intend to fix but this has to be some of the best I have seen. I like that Yuki tried to defuse the situation with the student Council president with calm logic until Haru decides to stand up and be a legend. I think a lot of this has to do with his personality and voice acting and I just have to say his English voice actor is just as fantastic. I think the great part is that even though it's done way more violently his arguments are still logical being about acceptance and not judging someone because of what they look like which does seem like a big theme in the show so far. Also the scream when Haru decides to show “proof” is just as amazingly hilarious in English as it is in Japanese. It's no coincidence that this comedy was used here because it purposefully distracts from the looming cloud of Aikito from the start of the episode. Aikito is such a terrifying character because of how easily he is able to switch masks from what appears to be a cheerful, well-adjusted person to a serious and scary character who is able to subtly emotionally abuse someone and have such a heavy presence. Also the way they animate/draw Yuki that’s true terror right there. It was really courageous and good of Tohru to step in between the 2 to protect Yuki when she was so obviously terrified of him. Finally the really wholesome stuff at the end of the episode was really needed after dealing with such serious stuff. All these friendships here are so great. All your theories and character discussion/analysis is really great and insightful especially the language you use to talk about Yuki. Great reaction and I can’t wait for the next one. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

love Kyo being protective, but what i admire about Yuki is, despite how obviously terrified of Akito he is, he still confonted Akito just to make sure Tohru was okay.
