So some extra details on the Roswaal stuff So you guys have come to the conclusion he's an essence transfer-er But he's not exactly using clones. I won't go into too much detail, buuuut some of the Light Novel Side Stories (ones released before the final volume of arc 4 and therefore available when this part of the novel was officially released) actually introduce us to 2 Roswaals of the Past. Roswaal J. Mathers, a woman who would be about a decade older than Wilhelm. And Roswaal K. Mathers, The son of Roswaal J. Mathers who was about 5-10 years younger than Wilhelm. Our current Roswaal is Roswaal L. Mathers, The 2nd Roswaal from the Flashback this episode introduced himself as Roswaal B. Mathers What conclusions you draw from all of that is ultimately down to you

You're technically not wrong about the epilogue comment. While people get kinda salty about it, but S1 and S2 are both setup Seasons/Arcs for the story. S2 was to establish the Emilia faction and its main cast and parts of the past (like the witches, etc). The only faction from the 5 in the royal selection, not being properly established yet. From the next Arc onwards, everything will go into motion as the prologue is over. S1 was also unique, in that it was multiple smaller Arcs. Every Arc beyond S1, will be double cour (as of now with the source material, this can obv change).
