The discussion was pretty nice! I was kinda surprised they didn't 100% guess that it was the test right away, but I can def understand their reasoning. I was a bit concerned about how they would react to Tanizaki and Naomi. Luckily, they aren't in the spotlight all that much as a duo and I think next week's episode will kinda be the last of their focus together? Like them doing their shtick. So hopefully they won't get too put off by them. They're setting themselves up for disappointment with Poe. Gosh. I feel so bad. I mean, I love Poe a lot. He's such a good guy, but he's nothing like what they're hoping for. The earlier parts of BSD are def on the slower side, but it starts picking up around episode 8 when we get the introduction of Kyouka. And I think they'll get the info they're looking for on the orphanage in Dead Apple. Can't wait for next week to see Akutagawa and Tanizaki in action!

The name No Longer Human is the name of a novel by Osamu Dazai, another and more literal translation for the name is "Disqualified From Being Human". I really appreciate this series for introducing me to so many great authors I wouldn't have found out about otherwise. Just hearing the names of some abilities gets me interested in reading those books, sadly not all of them are translated.
