Looking forward to Beastars S2 reactions a lot! This season has been great, I know the bros are gonna love it.

I haven't seen the most recent episode, but I heard it was pretty good. Unfortunately, It's already too late at this point to really save the show, because even if the finale is 10/10, because the lead up to it was so poorly executed, it will make it feel unearned. Another example of this (unpopular opinion incoming) is for me, Code Geass. To me, that show has a 10/10 finale, arguably one of the greatest finales of all time, however, I can't rank the show as a whole more then a 7, because everything leading up to that awesome finale, was a mess. And unfortunately, I don't have high hopes that TPN will be able to pull off anything close to a CG level finale, it may be a solid finale, but that won't be nearly enough to save it.

So the interesting thing is I was all for them getting rid of the arc they cut, to me that is when the manga starts its decline and ends pretty bad. The issue is they didn't really replace it with anything and cut it and a certain character while skipping straight to the humans breaking in to the shelter, I'm genuinely interested in what the mangaka is trying to do by essentially rewriting everything from here. I'm glad we're getting Beastars and Dr. Stone sooner but I almost wish those were just in a different slot so you guys would keep reacting to this as I'd like to see how y'all as anime only's would feel about where this goes

I feel like the only problem the manga had was what felt like a rushed ending with random royal families, and somewhat subpar ending which was aight. I think the only problem was how the ending was executed which could have totally been fixed in an anime adaptation but I think this is where TPN will have to die now unless we get a Fullmetal Alchemist: Childhood bs or something but that ain't happening till a decade later where everything is renewed 🤷‍♂️

so glad... cw has ruined this anime. On Bilibili 1st season of tpnl has a rating of 9.8 but the 2nd seson only 2.8... looking forward to beastars...!

I just don't understand since when we dropping 7/10 animes .__. welp anyway now I cant watch beaststars S2 with you guys since im watching it legally which only starts in July... :/ so dropping the show actually made the timing worse ._.

Ratings are largely subjective, but from what I've read here and in my own sphere of weebs 7/10 is the upper limit of a rating the show could recieve assuming they NAIL the ending. For most, it's considerably below that at the moment. As for the accessing of Beastars, I can respect your decision to wait for the Netflix release, but the reality is finding an alternative stream is relatively easy and many individuals, such as myself, are fine watching the show through these other sources.

Though this season was a big disappointment, these reactions were still good. But I can't be mad, because next one up is a great season 2 of the second anime I was looking forward to this anime season. Edit: I do hope they read the manga. Even if they won't record it, I'd like them to experience the story fully. Edit 2: Grammar fixing.
