I had a crush on Botan when I watched this on Toonami back in the day. XD Most of the voicing is pretty good, but there's some old school cheesiness that is just a trait for really old shows.

btw Kuwabara's voice actor actually sounds like Okuyasu's in Japanese ver.

It's actually Shigeru Chiba who voices Kuwabara. Wataru Takagi is the one who voices Okuyasu. However Wataru does voice Knuckle in Hunter x Hunter who is most likely a character inspired by Kuwabara. Shigeru is well known for voicing Buggy in One Piece and Pilaf in Dragon Ball.

I started up the show on my end and completely missed that you're reacting to the Dub, which is rare for you guys, from what i've watched at least. EDIT: Man i'm glad you watched the Dub, cuz Keiko is is voiced by the wonderful, lovely Laura Bailey.
