No replacement, it was a temporary extra slot because Assassination Classroom and Beastars tied.

We don't know yet. They usually announce the replacement for Tuesday slot at the end of its final episode discussion, so we need to wait another week still to find out. (Or maybe they'll create a spoiler channel on discord a bit early and we'll know by seeing that)

Honestly when i first watched Beastars with friends, I thought it was quite good. Now upon rewatch I've realised that there is something very special and unique about it, and I am so excited to see where it goes.

Sommer brakes in Japan are about 2 months long, when I was a student it started around late July and school started on September 1. September 1. has also the highest numbers of suisides of kids under the age of 18 because kids who are bullied are afraid of going back to school again after the long break of being bullied. I don't know if that's just a Japanese thing or not. Also School years in Japan start in April and end in March. That's why cherry blossoms have a big meaning in Japan. Since they bloom from late march to the beginning of April they are associated with the nostalgic feeling of the season of parting and new beginnings of lifestyles.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed this series so much! I read the manga but I also watched the anime and I've noticed a lot of people write this anime off because they think it's just a furry anime but it's definitely way WAY more than that, so I'm glad you guys discovered that and enjoyed it so much. Here's to waiting for Season 2, things get crazy!
