Guys Kohaku does not like Chrome whatsoever lol. Kohaku likes Senku way more than chrome even at this point. She specifically said she did not like him at all when they had the conversation. She just asked chrome about marriage out of pity for him.

Unfortunately, there was a line of dialogue where Kohaku says "No, I don't like you" or similar during that scene, and so to these two who "totally know how stories are written" that means she's definitely into him 100% Context and character actions don't matter, they're too smart for those.

?? So are you clowning on them or clowning on me? It is kinda hard to figure out exactly what you are saying based on what you commented. Or it may simply be me and I just don’t get it. Anyways, all I am saying is Kohaku very much made clear by the end of their talk that she was not into chrome at all. She was talking and offering it to him but not because she liked him. If the creator had any intention of making it to where Kohaku had a thing for chrome it would have been made much more clear. If anything by this point their is much more evidence for her to like senku than their is for her liking Chrome. Maybe you were agreeing with me though. So if you were agreeing and I didn’t understand I’ll just say sorry in advance. But I’m also not shitting on the bro’s for not understanding because they watch and react to other stuff so it is hard to 100% keep up with all the details.

I was clowning on them. Sometimes, they have a tendency to latch onto tropes in storytelling (for example, Kohaku saying she doesn't like Chrome must mean that she does!) and won't let go even when presented contradictory evidence. That's all I meant.

I think the reason they latched so hard onto that is because the Bros kinda forgot that Dr. Stone is still a Shounen. They tend to like Romance/Drama type shows as well, so that's probably affecting their judgement as well.

Where did they get Kohaku likes Chrome from? I thought it was pretty obvious that she's into Senku, (calling him attractive at one point and where she fell on Seku trying to go after Gen, which is a commen trope when shows implying the characters mind eventually end up with each other)not that she'd ever really admit it.

its kinda hard to call it "contradictory evidence" when like you said, it is a trope, it is so common in so many anime that its hard to get rid of it, its easier and has a higher chance of being true to assume "she likes him" rather than "she offered to marry him out of pity/as a joke"
