At this point in the manga we got this helpful page. Wonder if it could be passed on to them. https://i.imgur.com/aB3xOon.jpg

I recently switch to iOS and I’m unable to open the video on YouTube. So I can’t click the link unless is on the Patreon page.

You guys really need to drop the idea that this is a harem show. Dr. Stone is better than that.

Medunuuu

It will be told, not a big deal. You don’t need to tell reactors how to feel after a certain episode... chill out.

JayKay

I think OP considers harem demeaning or lesser so calling this show that is somewhat offensive to him. People want others to feel the exact same so they were more relatable - friend material. To me personally, watching reactions seem to stem from the loneliness. Not only but it probably plays a huge role.

MrDonutTheDonut

@JayKay A huge part of reactions for me is feeling like you're watching something with friends, and I wouldn't really expect my friends to have the same opinions as me on a show or to view a scene in the same way I would. Everyone's different. And as someone who was reading the manga as it was coming out week by week, it was a pretty common shared theory that Senku was going to end up accumulating a harem around this time and even more so later. (Not that Senku would enjoy the harem, but that he would have one nonetheless)

JayKay

@MrDonutTheDonut That's exactly what I was thinking. Everybody is different but you usually make friends with people that have at least something in common (opinion, taste, etc.), no? At least that's how I made that connection. I haven't read the manga, not sure if OP or boys did either but I don't really care. Whether it's a harem or not, Senku doesn't seem like the type that would get romantically involved anyway. My original reply wasn't a criticism, just offering my two cents. Though, it might have been just a rhetorical question.

You're confusing me with a person below, they misread the subs which leads to factual mistakes in reasoning and has nothing to do with "feels".

Minashiro Soushi

Actually, you can: click on the video in Patreon app, tap 3 vertical dots in upper right corner, select share and click on the YouTube link - your iPhone should open up youtube app.

Don't be putting down Harem like that bitch. Harem anime are for true cultured weebs.

"Feeling" a certain way and misunderstanding information as it's told to you are different. Not correcting mistakes like this is how you get people missing the point of whole arcs.

And it's not like they've ever seen a proper harem show before, which makes their condescending attitude even more annoying.

I am not sure they are smelting iron... The addition of coal in the mix sounds like they are trying for pig iron, or, in other words, going for steel (if they have some sort of flux stone)

This is where this show truly comes into its own. in most anime this part of the story would feel like a sidequest that is delaying the main plot. But because everything that's happening is so interesting and the things they're working towards are so insane, the slow and arduous process of developing technology becomes the main reason why you're watching, instead of the drama that's giving it context. It mirrors what senku talks about in this episode: what he finds exhilarating is the trudge through the muck to get to a peak that seems impossible. That's what this show is about! I haven't read ahead in the manga so i'm interested to know how the next season will deal with the overarching conflict being more of the focus.

I mean they sure do draw every legal age female character like it's a harem anime. The way I see it, it was probably the only way the author was able to convinced editors to sign off on a manga that gets into fairly actually technical descriptions of scientific concepts, going about as far as you'd expect a history channel doc to go, and sometimes farther. I don't really like it, but the characters are good enough that I can put my feelings about their designs aside. Basically I wish more people were drawn like Senku and most other main male characters.
