This is why people say part 4 is their favorite. It's the most symbolic of the parts in it's story telling and characters more-so than great fights.

Someone should tell these two to watch the final two episodes of Part 5 together when they get to it. I feel like it'll make more sense for them and hopefully not confuse them as much as it did for several anime onlys.

"Golden spirits" is kind of a Part 5 tie-in — the manga volume where Part 4 ended and Part 5 began is called "Golden Spirit, Golden Wind". (And the cover art is great, look it up.)
